Emotional Health
Most modern pharmacological “solutions” are not true solutions for our emotions. Rather, they are tools meant to suppress or reduce our emotional reactivity so that we do not have to be troubled by the fact that we are human and have emotions.
We are meant to have our emotional experiences. Even when they are unpleasant, they are healthy. The first step towards emotional health is in honoring this truth. When we do this, we can start to truly learn about ourselves and become emotionally empowered.
Drawing from years of studying and practicing the wisdom traditions of Chinese medicine, Daoism, and Zen Buddhism, I’ve helped many clients navigate their way through chronic struggles and back to true emotional health and empowerment.
Some of the blockages I’ve helped people with include the following:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Chronic Self-Judgement
- Emotional Trauma/PTSD
- Unresolved Childhood Trauma
- Eating Disorders
- Alcohol/Substance Abuse Disorders
- Social Anxieties/Phobias
- Chronic Emotional Struggles – anger, anxiety, obsession, judgement, fear, etc
